Visit to Monte Brasil, an extinct volcano on the south of Terceira Island, forming the Bay of Angra do Heroísmo to the East and the Bay of Fanal to the West. From the top of this mountain, a magnificent view above the World Heritage city can be seen.
Visit to Serra da Ribeirinha, from where the Ilhéu das Cabras and Angra do Heroísmo are seen from a different perspective. Departure to the viewpoint of Serra do Cume, overlooking a large plain divided by pastures which is known as “Manta de Retalhos”, and Praia da Vitória, visiting the viewpoint of Serra do Facho which has an exceptional panoramic over the city. Lunch.
Continue through the interior of the island, surrounded by forest of cryptomeria and endemic vegetation, passing through the Natural Reserve of Biscoito da Ferraria and Pico Alto ending up at the natural pools of Biscoitos which are formed by basaltic lavas.
Going through the western part of the Island and stopping in some more viewpoints, we arrive at the last point of interest, the factory of Queijo Vaquinha, where you can taste different kinds of cheese and wine from the Azores. Return to the Hotel.
